Thiocodin syrup 100 ml codeine phosphate

Thiocodin syrup 100 ml contains two active substances: codeine phosphate hemihydrate and sulfoguaiacol. Codeine phosphate hemihydrate has an antitussive effect, and inhibits the cough reflex, reducing the frequency of coughing attacks.
Sulfoguaiacol has an expectorant effect and facilitates the movement of liquefied secretions in the respiratory tract and its expectoration.

Dosage of the preparation

The recommended dosage of Thiocodin in adults and children over 12 years of age is 1 tablet or 10 ml of syrup 3 times a day. Remember to keep a 4-6 hour interval between individual doses. The treatment time is usually 3 days.

The drug should be taken with meals. During treatment, it is necessary to drink plenty of fluids – a minimum of 2 liters each day. This allows for the appropriate effectiveness of the preparation.

active substances:
– codeine phosphate hemihydrate 15 mg
– sulfoguaiacol 300 mg

Excipients: sucrose, glycerol, sodium benzoate, strawberry flavor, citric acid monohydrate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, purified water.
